The Art of Peacemaking documents the conception, creation and exhibition of the Gun Sculpture
.. Construction followed intense training in weapons deactivation and difficulties gaining legal and political approval for the project. With weapons arriving from trouble spots around the world, it took eight months to wire and weld the 14 panel, 5 tonne structure.
..The negative energy of the hardware successfully transforms statistics into a tangible entity, and the shaft of light entering through its ceiling powerfully represents the hope for peace. ..
